- 3 cups self-rising flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 12-oz. can beer, preferably room temperature
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- In a large bowl, combine flour and sugar. Pour in beer and fold together until incorporated. Dough will be sticky.
- Prepare a loaf pan with nonstick spray; scoop dough into pan. Bake at 350 F until browning begins, around 45 to 55 minutes.
- Remove from oven and pour melted butter over loaf. Return to oven and bake 10 more minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes in the pan. Turn bread over onto a cooling rack to finish cooling. Slice carefully with a bread knife.
