Sweet and Sour Sauce:
- 2 cubes beef bouillon
- 2 cups water, boiling
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 3 Tbsp. mustard
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 8–oz. can pineapple tidbits
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
Meatballs:
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
- 1/2 cup cracker crumbs, finely ground
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp. ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
- 1 tsp. garlic
- Few drops of Tabasco
- For the sauce: Dissolve the beef bouillon cubes in the boiling water. In abowl, mix the other ingredients together; add them to the broth.
- For the meatballs: Mix all the ingredients together. Form into small meatballs. Add more cracker crumbs, if needed, to form the meatballs.Brown the meatballs in a skillet.
- Put the meatballs in a Crock-Pot; pour the sauce over them. Cook on low for 4 hours.
