Woodcrafters Fencing

Summertime means more backyard activities, and Woodcrafters Fencing is ready to beautify your outdoor spaces. Woodcrafters Fencing is a family-owned business built on generations of principles that began with a grandparents’ contracting business. Its owners’ experience in the industry began in 1992. “My brother and I started this company together 30 years ago, when we started doing fencing jobs and decided we liked it. What began as Philip’s Fences has transitioned to Woodcrafters Fencing, still built on the ethics and strategies taught to us by our father and grandparents,” President David Spicer said.

Serving Ellis County and surrounding areas, Woodcrafters Fencing promises “competitive prices, professional craftsmanship and unmatched commitment to customers.” Specializing in cedar privacy fences, gates, pergolas, decks and outdoor living spaces, they also work with chain link, barbed wire, corral fencing and split rail. “And we do wrought-iron fencing, including gates and automatic gate-access controllers,” General Manager Glen Byrd described. “A lot of people like wrought iron because once it’s installed, it’s maintenance free.”

The company supplies and installs fencing for residential, rural and commercial locations, plus new builds in housing developments and other large projects. They also offer fence staining. “We handle a broad array of commercial and exterior construction projects for fencing, gates and concrete construction. Our clients have state-of-the-art options for gates and access control units with installation, too,” Glen continued.

Woodcrafters’ fencers come to the client’s location, present different material options, measure and can usually give an estimate on the spot. “We return calls quickly, and we show up on time,” Glen continued.

Adding to their plethora of fencing services, Woodcrafters Fencing also installs decks and pergolas to complete outdoor entertainment spaces. “We work with you to create your ideal deck design, so that the deck we build works with your home, is designed for your intended uses and is exactly what you are looking for,” Glen stated. “A pergola is a gorgeous enhancement to your home, offering access to natural light when you need it and protection from the harsh Texas sun when you don’t. Pergolas help you enjoy your yard all year long.”

Financing is available for all credit types — for projects ranging from $1,000 to $250,000 — and clients can visit the company website to determine personalized monthly payment options. “Completing a quick financing survey will tell you what you pre-qualify for, and seeing these options won’t affect your credit score,” CFO Brandie Harris stated.

With Woodcrafters Fencing, customers can expect to be treated like family. “Quality of materials, customer care and service are important to us, as is the quick fulfillment of warranty repairs. We strive for immediate response to customer concerns and treat you like we would want to be treated,” Brandie added.

CEO Sam Spicer said a history of customer satisfaction speaks to Woodcrafters’ level of service. “Our clients know we care about them and their needs. Many of our customers come by referrals and word of mouth,” he said.

“If you’re searching for a fence contractor, we are a highly skilled team with competitive prices,” Sam reiterated. “We have all the pieces of the puzzle to put together your perfect outdoor spaces.”
