City Christmas Tree Lighting:
Musical accompaniment for the reading of The Christmas Story and official tree lighting. Bring a new, unwrapped toy for Manna House. 6:00 p.m., Heritage Park, 234 N. 8th St. Rain out date, Dec. 2.

Jingle Belles 5K and Rubies Fun Run:
Hosted by the Heritage Belles Booster Club, a portion of proceeds benefits Bridges Foundation. All racers receive Cox Racing chipped bibs, timing and running bells. Southern Star Christmas Celebration:
Parade and outdoor festivities, including selfies with Santa and children’s activities, and an outdoor holiday market. Festivities: 1:00-5:00 p.m., Heritage Park, 234 N. 8th St.; parade: 6:00 p.m., Downtown North 8th St.

Jingle Beats:

The Polar Express:

Bikes for Tykes:

National Active and Retired Employees:

Lancaster Women’s Connection:
