Founder’s Day Festival:
Fun and exciting activities including historical artisans making and selling hand-made goods, old-fashioned games, food trucks and more. Free. 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Man House Museum, 604 W. Broad St.

FASFA Help Night:
All seniors are required by the state to complete the FAFSA, TASFA or an opt-out form in order to graduate. If you are planning to attend a college, university or technical school, you should complete the FAFSA even if you think you won’t qualify. Cost: Free. 7:15-8:00 p.m., Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts, 1110 W. Debbie Ln.

Senior Trip to the State Fair:
For ages 55-plus. The program fee includes transportation. Lunch is on your own. State Fair admission tickets are purchased on the grounds. Writers in the Field:

Big Dog Music Festival:

WonderFall Fest:
The festival will kick off with an elementary school parade in the morning followed by fun activities the whole family can enjoy including fall-themed carnival games, student performances, armadillo races, food trucks, face painting and photo-ops with live “unicorn” ponies, just to name a few. 26th Annual Texas Country Reporter Festival:
Hosted by Bob and Kelli Phillips. 300-plus craft booths, two food courts and live entertainment, including a free concert with Diamond Rio. Admission: Free. 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., Downtown Waxahachie.
