Chunk Your Junk and Shred Day:

Bark & Rec Hikes:
Pairs participants with shelter dogs. Take a hike through Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park, and bring
a dog from Mansfield’s Animal Care and Control Shelter. Sign up for 9:00-10:00 a.m. or 10:00-11:00 a.m. (817) 276-4799.

Gathering Hope:

Texas Country Reporter Festival:
Enjoy arts, crafts and music from far and wide at the 25th annual festival with more than 250 booths and two food courts. Free. 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., Courthouse Square, Waxahachie.

NOLA 5K:
Bring your blanket to lay out and listen to great music, and enjoy a taste of New Orleans as the sun begins to set. Saturday: 4:30-10:00 p.m., The LOT Downtown, 110 S. Main St.

MMC Free Food Market:
Families, seniors or anyone in MISD who needs access to food – even for their pets – is welcome to call. Groceries will be distributed in a drive-thru fashion.
