Be Healthy Burleson Fun Run:
Come join the Parks and Recreation Department as they host the annual Be Healthy Burleson 5K/10K/Fun Run to benefit the health, wellness and safety of Burleson citizens. This family-friendly event features music, food trucks, bounce house, giveaways and community vendors! Participation in the 10K and 5K is $35, and the 1K is $10. Ever wonder how homecoming mums became so huge in Texas? At the presentation “All the Bells and Whistles: A supersized history of homecoming mums in Texas,” Amy Schulz of Unplain Jane Studio will tell us that story and share some Texas-sized mums.
