Basic Self Defense (13-plus):
Teenage and adult women can increase awareness to avoid a situation before it occurs as well as increase physical skills to escape a situation if necessary. Learn awareness skills, verbal commands, distance as well as various strikes to defend. $23; registration required.(817) 728-3680.

Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off:
Open the second Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., and the Thursday and Friday before the second Saturday: 3:00-7:00 p.m. The Environmental Collection Center (ECC) is the City’s permanent drop-off facility for unwanted household hazardous materials.
