Bag of Books Bonanza:
Support The Friends of the Burleson Library and acquire some new favorite reads at their Bag of Books Bonanza! $5 purchases a single use bag to fill with books, CDs and DVDs for all ages! This event takes place during regular library hours in the entryway of the Burleson Public Library, 248 SW Johnson Ave.

Dueling Pianos:
Enjoy this one-of-a-kind interactive show with the Eighty Eights performing live popular songs from the classics to today’s hits. A food truck will be on-site for dinner. This is a 21-and-up event. Visit Russell Farm for the Second Annual Autism Resource Fair in partnership with Galliant Care! Meet friendly farm animals, enjoy fun activities, delicious food trucks and see the Reading Rover! Free Drop-In Math Tutoring Program:
A Mathnasium instructor will be at the library once a month for two hours to help students understand and excel in math. Whether it’s homework help, test preparation or mastering key concepts, the engaging and supportive environment makes math make sense. Free for students of all ages. 4:00-6:00 p.m., Burleson Public Library, 248 SW Johnson Ave.

2025 BACC Golf Classic:
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, the Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce has got an exciting day planned for you. So, grab your clubs, rally your friends and hit the links for a day of friendly competition and fun. Individuals: $150; teams of 4: $600. 6:45 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Registration begins at 6:45 a.m.; shotgun start at 8:00 a.m., Hidden Creek Golf Course, 555 E. Hidden Creek Pkwy.

Father’s Day Fishing Tournament:

June Craft Fair:
Visit the Senior Activity Center’s June Craft Fair, where local vendors will showcase their sewn creations, art, jewelry and other handmade items. 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., Senior Activity Center, 216 SW Johnson Ave.

Community Quilt Project:
Both beginners and experts are invited to participate. Use your imagination to design and sew a 12.5 inch x 12.5 inch 100 percent cotton fabric quilt top block reflecting the Summer Reading theme “Color Your World.” (Do not actually quilt the piece.) Drop off your finished piece between these dates at Burleson Public Library, 248 SW Johnson Ave. For details call (817) 426-9211.

Hot Sounds of Summer:
The Hot Sounds of Summer concerts are back! Enjoy good music from musicians of various genres. Be sure to bring your own chairs and picnic blankets. Concerts start at 7:30 p.m., Mayor Vera Clavin Plaza, 141 W. Renfro St.
