The Sweet Delilah Swim Club:
Presented by Ennis Public Theatre. Five Southern women, whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. The play focuses on four of those weekends — a hilarious and touching comedy about friendships that last forever. Recommended for ages 16-plus. Bluebonnet Run:
A professionally timed 5K and 10K race benefiting CROME Nonprofit, which supports student scholarships and mentorship programs. All ages/skill levels welcome, including a Kids Run. Awards for top finishers and free swag for all participants, including a race shirt, medal and bag. Check-in: 6:00 a.m.; 10K start time: 8:00 a.m.; 5K start time: 8:15 a.m.; Kids Run start time: 9:30 a.m.; awards ceremony: 10:00 a.m., in downtown Ennis. Brilliance, Boots & Bling Bingo:
Presented by the Navarro College Foundation. Over the last 15 years, Brilliance has provided scholarships for over 1,900 Ellis County Dual Credit and General Academic students because of the generous support of Ellis County businesses and individuals. We have been able to award every student that qualifies, a Brilliance scholarship. In an effort to continue that rich tradition, please consider joining us this year. Individual Tickets: $125. Ennis FFA Cornhole Tournament:
