Back-to-School Bash 2024:
This event is a great opportunity for the entire community to kick off the new school year in a fun way while also providing for MISD families in need. School supplies, health services for students, shoes, games and other exciting activities will be available. Cost: Free. 7:30 a.m.-noon, Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts, 1110 W. Will Baffle’s Show of Wonders:
Step right up to Will Baffle’s Show of Wonders, where magic and illusion converge to create an enchanting experience for the whole family. As the curtains rise, the audience is transported into a realm where the impossible becomes possible and wonder knows no bounds. Will Baffle, with his charismatic charm and masterful sleight of hand, will captivate audiences of all ages. Cost: $15. 3:00-4:00 p.m., Farr Best Theater, 109 N. Main.

Expo Quinceañera Dallas:
Take advantage of it all under one roof! Meet Quinceañera vendors nearby. Observe models as they showcase dresses and explore various vendor tables. If you’re planning a Quniceanera, get a ticket. Families, seniors or anyone in MISD who needs food is welcome to walk-in. Pets are provided for, as well. Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off:
The Environmental Collection Center (ECC) is the city’s permanent drop-off facility for unwanted household hazardous materials (anything with a warning label), electronics and recyclable. Thursday and Friday: 3:00-7:00 p.m.; Saturday: 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., 616 S. Wisteria St.
