- 1 lb. sirloin tip
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste (divided use)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 4 potatoes
- 1 pkg. baby carrots
- 1/2 head cabbage, sliced in 1/2-inch wedges
- Brown sirloin tip in oil on both sides; add salt and pepper.
- Put steak in a roaster. Cover with onion and green pepper; pour ketchup over top. Add water just to the top of the meat.
- Cover and bake in oven at 350 F for an hour. Take pan out and add potatoes, carrots and cabbage around meat, adding water, if needed. Salt and pepper vegetables.
- Cover and continue baking for about an hour, or until vegetables are tender.
