- 2 heads broccoli, cut into small florets
- 3 Tbsp. melted coconut oil (or oil of choice)
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- Pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- Preheat the oven to 400 F. Toss the broccoli with the oil, salt, black pepper and garlic. Place a single layer on a baking sheet, preferably with a rim.
- Bake until the broccoli is tender, can be pierced with a fork and the edges are browning — about 15-20 minutes. Turn once halfway through the cooking; add the red pepper flakes, if desired.
- After baking, squeeze the lemon juice liberally over the broccoli. Serve.
