National Polka Festival:
Come help celebrate the Ennis Czech heritage and traditions. Friday: The festival kicks off with an opening dance featuring polka music and the King and Queen Dance Contest. Saturday: The parade begins at 10:00 a.m., followed by food, arts and crafts booths and live music and dancing downtown. Saturday and Sunday: The halls will host food and dancing. Presented by the Ennis Rotary Club. Cost: $0-$30, depending on age and event.
