- 2 lbs. lean ground chuck
- 2 cups celery, chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 tsp. garlic salt
- 2 cups ketchup
- 4 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- Brown ground chuck; drain.
- Sauté celery, onion and pepper, until tender.
- Combine meat, sautéed vegetables and remaining ingredients in large pot; cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add more water if the mixture is too thick. Serve over hamburger buns.
